Take a break from your spring cleaning and come out to help us celebrate Earth Day. Don’t miss this unique learning experience as PPL and local conservation groups join forces to bring you fun activities and events for all ages throughout the day. You can explore skins and skulls, make a watershed sundae, try casting fishing poles, learn about geocaching, go on a bird or plant walk, watch a puppet show, learn how to save energy at home or even try out a kayak on Lake Wallenpaupack. Enjoy some wholesome goodies, which will be offered for sale by the Himalayan Institute’s Main Street Yoga Café.
Learn more about the organizations in your own backyard and how you can get involved. There is no charge to attend, and you are sure to gain some useful knowledge on environmental and cultural topics. There is something for all ages at this community event! Volunteers are needed.
